Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management & Leadership 
    • Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales and marketing team.
    • Lead and motivate the sales and marketing team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a high-performance culture.
    • Set clear targets for the team, monitor progress, and provide guidance to ensure goals are exceeded.
    • Build a development roadmap to support team members’ growth, ensuring they have the resources and support to succeed.
    • Continuously refine workflows to improve efficiency and performance across sales and marketing functions.
  • Sales 
    • Develop and execute a sales strategy that drives prospecting, lead generation, and deal closing, fully aligned with company objectives.
    • Utilize tools and outbound strategies to identify high-quality leads and convert them into long-term partnerships.
    • Drive direct sales efforts, including leading the team in proposal pitching and deal closing.
    • Oversee the sales team and processes from lead generation to negotiation and closing.
    • Continuously optimize sales processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Marketing
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure cohesive strategies that drive both brand awareness and customer acquisition.
    • Manage the agency’s online presence, including the website, social media channels, etc.
    • Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns across digital channels, events, and trade shows, ensuring alignment with sales efforts.
    • Guide the creation of engaging content that clearly communicates the company’s value proposition.
    • Lead the company’s participation at industry events, maximizing visibility and aligning event strategy with business goals.
  • Strategic Partnerships & External Relations
    • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients, industry partners, and vendors to create new business opportunities.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders.
    • Represent the company at industry events (travelling to the USA is required) and trade shows, building a network of contacts that enhance visibility and drive growth.
  • Budgeting and Financial Analysis
    • Create and maintain a department budget, forecast, and other reports.
    • Conduct regular financial analysis to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
    • Make data-driven decisions to improve ROI on marketing initiatives.

The Head of Sales and Marketing plays a pivotal role in driving the agency’s revenue growth and brand recognition. This role demands a dynamic blend of strategic thinking, interpersonal skills, and industry expertise to succeed in a competitive software development landscape.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, with a focus on sales experience, and supporting marketing activities.
  • Based in European timezone, with the ability to travel abroad, USA in particular (American visa is a very preferred, but we can help with opening one).
  • Previous experience working within a software development environment (software development agency, IT outsourcing company, web-development agency, design agency)
  • Fluency in spoken and written English (C1 level or a confident B2 level)
  • Demonstrated success in solo sales within service-based tech B2B companies.
  • Proven experience managing sales and marketing teams
  • Proven expertise in sales process optimization, lead generation, and campaign management.
  • Strong background in working directly with C-level executives, decision-makers, and key stakeholders.
  • Experience participating in industry events and trade shows as an exhibitor.
  • Technical understanding of web and mobile technologies.
  • Results-oriented, with strong business awareness and a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Confident decision-maker with proven leadership skills and the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.

  • Qualification interview with COO (60 min)
  • Final interview with CEO (60 min)
