Job Summary:
Voyagerr is a leading provider of demand response software solutions, with a strong presence across Europe and the Middle East. Our innovative products help get people where they need to be, specifically for school children, paratransit users and across social access programmes. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Technology to lead and optimize our development team and ensure that innovation and product development are guided by a unified vision across all entities within the group.
This role will partner with and support the CEO; a strategic role with a focus on high-quality technology leadership and especially on adding value to the business and impacting results.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Technology Leadership: Provide visionary and strategic leadership for the company’s technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a development team of approximately 40 developers based in Lahore, Pakistan, with several developers across Scandinavia. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
- Product Development: Oversee the development and delivery of multiple software products sold across Europe and the Middle East. Ensure high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions. Support the Chief Product Officer with sunsetting old products whilst developing for the new platform we have.
- Development operations: Ensure robust & reliable processes are in place to deliver the product roadmap and existing product maintenance, according to priorities set collaboratively across the leadership team. Move processes towards SAAS best practice.
- Cyber security & technology reliability : Ensure that Modaxo best practices are put in place for data security and platform reliability across all products.
- Innovation: Drive innovation and continuous improvement in technology and processes. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement technology strategies and delivery models that support the company’s business objectives. Collaborate with the executive team to define and execute the company’s vision.
- Budget Management: Manage the technology budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effective solutions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and investors, to understand their needs and ensure the technology strategy aligns with their expectations.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technology-related risks. Ensure robust security and compliance measures are in place.
Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and impact of technology initiatives.
Personal Specification
Knowledge and Skills required:
- Proven experience as a Head of Technology or in a similar senior technology leadership role, ideally in a SAAS environment .
- Strong background in software development, with experience managing large development teams, ideally also remote-based teams in Asia.
- Experience with product development and delivery in international markets, particularly Europe and the Middle East.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- High level of technical expertise and a passion for innovation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Desirable but not essential:
- Experience with cloud computing, big data, and AI technologies.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards in the public transport sector.
- Understanding of demand response software

- Language : Fluent written and spoken English. Ability to speak fluently both Danish and Swedish is ideal.
