Director of Transformation.
Salary: £75,000 per annum.
Location: Remote.
Contract: Permanent, 35 hours per week.

The Director of Transformation will play a key role in driving our business improvement targets at Action for Children through implementing strategic improvements across the business functions . You roadmap our strategic ambitions through identification and build of business cases that highlight opportunities to reduce costs and support ongoing improvements to the organisation’s efficiency .
How you’ll help to create brighter futures
Establishing and leading a PMO function that supports delivery of the business plan and other strategic change across Action for Children by working with Executive Leadership Teams.
Ensuring that proposed change activities are supported by evidence-based business cases based on sound financial analysis and resource implications. Working with delivery teams across our organization to ensure all key transformation activities have appropriate governance in place.
Reporting on Delivery Confidence (objectives & finances) – Executive Leadership Team, Directors Group & Board of Trustees where necessary remedial action will be taken.
Developing, leading and nurturing positive relationships with key stakeholders to ensure engagement and delivery of change.

Let’s talk about you
This qualification is a minimum Lean Competency System 1c or an equivalent qualification along with experience in operating model design.
The 3rd Sector/Charity experience is mandatory.
Extensive experience in leading the delivery of multiple initiatives and transformational change within a large, diverse, complex organisation.
Ability to demonstrate detailed knowledge about programme/project governance with working knowledge of project management methodologies .
Experience of translating strategy into delivery through plans, programmes, people and culture .

Experience in cultural and organisational change that enables transformation implementation .
Proven ability to establish collaborative working relationships across a diverse workforce at all levels of seniority.
