Front Desk Receptionist Walsall – Sycamore House Medical Centre, WS1 2NL

May be needed to cover at our Lichfield site £15,300 a year + Great benefits

Permanent

24 hours per week

Monday – Friday,

Hours of work between 8am and 5pm.

Evening & Weekend work may be a requirement in the future

We are searching for receptionists to join our team at our Walsall & Lichfield clinic sites. You will be the spinal cord of the clinic as Front of House Receptionist and will have multifaceted responsibilities aimed at making operations smoother in the Centre. If you are a committed experienced Front of House Receptionist with passion for world class customer service then this is an opportunity for you.

You will help us to ‘Make Health Happen’ through;

Greeting customers warmly and guiding them through every part of the centre until comprehensive checkout.

Answering incoming phone calls; directing them to appropriate personnel; screening queries (if necessary) while being proactive on local mailboxes and emails

Proactive management of well kept reception area and waiting rooms

Ensuring Customer Reports come out from centres within specified time frames including managing abnormal results effectively

Ensure all Customers have correct paperwork for their visit – appointment packs (where applicable), clinical file preparation, consent forms etc., etc.

Efficient Results Management(receiving ,scanning,uploading)and follow-up with suppliers ensuring turnaround within agreed SLA’s

Verify that all customers’ details are accurate ,customers are signed in, appointments booked, changed, rescheduled on EXACT/BOSS/Meddbase. Paying, invoicing , added charges and credit notes when customers leave.

Get organized and make sure you finish with all documents quickly by working in the order of dates and prioritizing so as to meet deadlines

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

PC literate, sound knowledge of MS office packages.

ExperienceAdministrative experience in a health care setting

ExperienceCustomer Service experience and highly customer focussed

Other Ability to prioritize between workloads and separate the urgent from the important.

Excellent written communication skills interpersonal; excellent organization and time management skills.

Can empathize well with patients putting anxious ones at ease
