If you take up the position of Operations Support Officer – Office and Events at Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland (CHSS), you can help change people’s lives from mere existence to real living.

This leading charity in Scotland will involve you in providing supports to patients suffering from chest, heart and stroke conditions so that they can live again as they used to. For example, Community Healthcare Support Service has a countrywide network involving local support groups, nurses, volunteers, and one-to-one support teams. These families work towards adjusting their lives after experiencing either a stroke or developing heart or lung conditions.

Your role will support our No Life Half Lived 2 Strategy by ensuring inclusive internal customer service delivery.

You will manage the Operations Support Administrators on a line basis; additionally, you will ensure they continue to develop professionally even as you sometimes provide them training on event support and H&S.

You will oversee team procedures and processes as well as continuously reviewing current ones.

Part of your remit within Operational Support Team will be under your responsibility whilst ensuring that the team delivers its operational plan.

In terms of office health and safety compliance, it is this post’s primary function to ensure all regulations are met by event logistic support provided by venues. It also provides administrative support for training opportunities within the organization
