Who We Are Looking For
As a Staff Product Manager for our new Managed Detection and Response (MDR) Service at SentinelOne, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to take ownership of the product’s strategy, vision, and execution. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, particularly in the field of MDR, and will drive the development of innovative solutions to address emerging threats.
What You Will Do
1. Product Strategy and Vision:
- Define and articulate a clear product strategy and vision for the MDR Service, aligned with SentinelOne’s overall objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape, translating these insights into a product roadmap and feature prioritization.
2. Product Development and Execution:
- Lead the end-to-end product development process, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as engineering, design, and security research.
- Drive the product roadmap, ensuring it aligns with customer requirements, business goals, and market opportunities.
- Define product requirements and specifications, and work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
- Utilize Agile methodologies to manage product development cycles, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management
3. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including customers, sales, marketing, and executive leadership, to gather feedback, understand market dynamics, and ensure product-market fit.
- Communicate product updates, milestones, and value propositions to internal teams and external stakeholders, such as customers and partners.
- Act as a product evangelist, representing the MDR Service internally and externally, including speaking at industry conferences and events
4. Product Performance and Analytics:
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success and impact of the MDR Service.
- Analyze market data, customer feedback, and usage metrics to continuously improve the product and identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies related to MDR and cybersecurity to ensure the product remains competitive and cutting-edge.
What You Need to Bring
- 6 to 8 years of experience as a Product Manager in the cybersecurity industry, with a preferable focus on MDR or related areas.
- Strong technical background and understanding of cybersecurity concepts and technologies.
- Proven track record of successfully leading the development and launch of complex software products.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into product features and roadmaps.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, and proficiency in using Agile project management tools.
- Data-driven mindset, with experience in leveraging analytics and market insights to drive product decisions.
- Proven ability to work effectively with both local and remote teams.
