Finatal is partnered with an international growth business is seeking a commercially minded VP of Financial Operations to lead and scale its finance operations across multiple geographies.
The company is a private equity-backed technology firm with operations across Europe and a strong outlook for expansion. This newly created role will drive operational finance excellence across regional entities while supporting broader business strategy, systems integration, and post-acquisition integration initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and professionalise financial operations across multiple jurisdictions (GL, AR/AP, cash management, payroll coordination, compliance).
Drive efficiency and scalability of finance processes, policies, and systems across entities.
Partner with the CFO and senior leadership to align financial operations with broader commercial goals.
Oversee the implementation and optimisation of finance systems and reporting tools.
Support post-acquisition integration and standardisation of controls, processes, and reporting.
Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial operations in line with local and international standards.
Lead and develop an international team, instilling a culture of performance, accountability, and improvement.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in a senior finance operations leadership role, ideally within a high-growth technology or SaaS environment.
Strong knowledge of European financial compliance, tax, and operational finance practices.
Experience with process transformation, systems implementation (e.g. ERP, workflow tools), and team scaling.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, international setting.
Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to influence at all levels.
Willingness to travel within Europe and USA.
